Nearly $40,000 in JCF Grants Awarded to Benefit SNJ

Nearly $40,000 in JCF Grants Awarded to Benefit SNJ

The Grants Committee and Board of Trustees of the Jewish Community Foundation, Inc. recently announced that JCF Grants awarded for 18 new and innovative programs throughout Southern New Jersey totaled close to $40,000.

JCF Grants of up to $5,000 each are provided biannually during the spring and fall. The JCF’s Grants Committee, chaired by Rhona Cohen and Susan Olinsky, reviews all applications to determine which best fit the criteria, and the JCF’s Board of Trustees votes on final approval. Click on the accompanying graphics to read the full list of Spring 2024 JCF grants that received approval, or refer to the list at bottom. For details about the application process, visit jcfsnj.org/grants

Award dollars for JCF Grants are made possible each year thanks to JCF Community Grants Fund and the following endowment funds (EF): Fannie & Meyer Adelman Family EF, Florence & Fred Bryen EF, Bush Refrigeration EF, Glenn Cohen Memorial EF, Keren Ami (My People’s) EF, Larry Lerner Memorial EF, Bertha & William Remer EF, Stella Schaevitz EF, Louis Silverman EF, and Norma & Leonard Zelnick EF.
