For the 26th year, the Jewish Community Foundation, Inc. and the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey have connected with donors who hail from South Jersey but now live or spend the winter in Florida. It's always a highlight of the year for our agencies!
This year, the Florida Reunion took place during the week of February 27th.
Read JCF and Federation CEO Jennifer Dubrow Weiss's review of the reunion in the Jewish Community Voice.
Thank you to the scores of donors who took the time to join us for one or more event during the week. Thank you also to the agency directors and presidents who also made the trip.
During the week, the JCF and Federation co-hosted multiple events, listed below, along with many smaller gatherings with some of our most loyal and generous donors. Here is a brief recap of happenings:
-Monday, February 27-
Dinner Event: To kickoff the week, nearly 70 people enjoyed an elegant dinner at the Angle Restaurant at the Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa in Palm Beach.
In addition to plenty of time for meeting and mingling, guests heard from JCF President Robert Elias, JCF/Federation CEO Jennifer Dubrow Weiss, Federation President Ed Rivkin, Federation Director of Security Bud Monaghan, and Federation Executive Director of Older Adults Robyn Kaplan.
These brief presentations provided an update on what is new in Jewish South Jersey, and donors learned about giving opportunities to support endowment funds to benefit the Federation, including via a new video about "Endowing Our Future."
-Tuesday, February 28-
Saltzman Foundation Breakfast: The Raymond & Gertrude R. Saltzman Foundation hosted a breakfast to connect several of their Board members with JCF and Federation agencies directors and presidents in Delray Beach.
Happy Hour: A casual evening, donors and friends met at Copperfish Kitchen in Boca Raton for appetizers, drinks, and schmoozing.

-Thursday, March 2-
Day Trip: Guests met at the Society of the Four Arts in Palm Beach for a guided tour of the beautiful exhibits, followed by lunch at TooJays a few minutes' drive away.
-Friday, March 3-
Lions Luncheon: Nearly two dozen Lion of Judah donors enjoyed an upscale lunch at the Four Seasons in Palm Beach. The guests celebrated Lori Goldstein, who, in December of 2022 received the Kipnis-Wilson/Friedland Award at the Lion of Judah Conference along with the birthday of our very own Jennifer Dubrow Weiss!

Thank you again to all who attended this week full of engaging activities. We are so fortunate to have the continued support of donors who no longer live full time in Southern New Jersey, but who are still dedicated to seeing our Jewish community continue to thrive. We're looking forward to next year's visit already!
