A Jewish Community Like No Other
Think about the Southern New Jersey Jewish community for a moment and how far we have come over the generations.
With original roots in Camden, the Southern New Jersey Jewish community now stretches from river to ocean as families and individuals have settled in, built synagogues and Jewish day schools, started businesses, and created a community that is dynamic, supportive, and generous. Without a doubt, there are few communities as strong as this one anywhere else in the world!
Community Accomplishments
Think about our community’s successes in Burlington, Camden, & Gloucester counties, including but not limited to:
-
Weinberg Jewish Community Campus, the crown jewel of the community
-
The Weinberg Commons Campus, the latest addition to the Jewish Federation system
-
A state-of-the-art Continuing Care Retirement Community (Lions Gate) and leading senior housing facilities
-
World class JCC & summer camps
-
Countless programs and services for individuals of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds
What about the Future?
The Jewish Community Foundation, Inc. can make sure that your legacy of giving and helping the community continues for years on end.
The future of the Southern New Jersey Jewish community indeed looks strong, with families and individuals continuing to take root here. It’s a welcoming community with many draws to it, and will likely grow for many generations to come.
With many other Jewish communities seeing a decline in population, Southern New Jersey has seen a growth in Jewish population.
But as the Jewish population grows, more needs will surface on top of those that already exist.
Role of the Jewish Federation
The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey is there to help those in need and serve as a vital resource for the Jewish community.
Your support of the Federation's Annual Campaign (also known as JFund) enables needed services to continue each year.
But what happens to your JFund contribution to Federation when you are no longer here to give every year?
How You Can Help
By working with the JCF to establish an Annual Campaign Endowment (ACE) or a Lion of Judah Endowment Fund (established by women and providing upwards of $5,000 per year) in your name, you will perpetuate your JFund contribution for years on end.
This annual funding will provide countless individuals and families with vital programs and services from the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey for generations into the future.
Leave a Jewish Legacy
How would you like to be remembered?
By creating an Annual Campaign Endowment or Lion of Judah Endowment Fund with the JCF, your legacy will carry on and the Southern New Jersey Jewish community will reap the benefits of your foresight and generosity.
There are many ways to establish an ACE or LOJE Fund, including donating appreciated assets such as stocks or bonds, leaving a bequest in your will, utilizing a life insurance policy, creating a trust, and more. The JCF can walk you through these options to help you maximize your giving and estate plan.
