Jaclyn Ehrlich Travel Experience Award
About the Jaclyn Ehrlich Travel Experience Award
Established by the Wolf Family, in memory of Jaclyn Lydia Ehrlich who lost a 2 year hard-fought battle against Ewing’s Sarcoma at the age of 18. This fund was created to provide financial assistance for awardees from Southern New Jersey who will attend any Social Action trip globally, any college or university related program in Israel, any recognized summer programs to Israel, or for study in Israel in any recognized school or yeshiva.
Jaclyn loved travel and serving others. Jaclyn traveled to Costa Rica where she combined adventure with cultural immersion and community service. She helped create intercultural connections and promote the building of a new environmental consciousness through service programs and daily educational tours. Jac, as her friends called her, also had a tremendous love for the land of Israel where she visited with her friends on Temple Beth Sholom’s Confirmation trip.
The Wolf Family will fund at least one award annually, to defray travel costs for each awardee. Any additional contributions in Jaclyn's memory will be used to provide more award dollars to deserving recipients.
If you would like to contribute to this fund in memory of Jaclyn and to help Southern New Jersey residents participate in travel experiences, please contact Leah Wolf for more information.
Please note: The JCF will be accepting applications for this award starting with the 2023 JCF Scholarship Awards Cycle. More information will be provided by December 2022. For questions, contact the JCF at 856-673-2528 or infojcf@jfedsnj.org.
