COMMUNITY:

Adath Emanu-El

Live Streaming Services - $1,500  
To obtain video and computer equipment to stream religious services to elderly, college age, and potential synagogue members.

Bookmates

The School Partnership Program - $2,400   
To expose Jewish Day School children to the Bookmates program in Camden, NJ.

Department of Jewish Education

Seders at the Levy's - $1200  
To sponsor an exhibit at the DJE Passover Prep Academy focusing on the Passover customs of Moroccan, Algerian, Ethiopian and Indian Jews.

Foxman DVTI

Student Transportation Van - $2,500   
To purchase a van to transport students to the school and to extra curricular activities.

Jewish in South Jersey

Non-denominational Congregation - $500   
To create a non-denominational congregation for unaffiliated Jews.

Katz JCC

Just 4 Kids Tuition Scholarship Program - $1,000   
To provide scholarship assistance to kids of single parent familes for after-school care.

Sons of Israel

Cherry Hill Job Fair - $2500  
To organize a community-wide job fair in collaboration with the OU Job Board.

Temple Beth Sholom

Mitzvah Day 2012 - $1,000   
To support a congregation wide coordinated community service day offering a wide range of activities.

Cook for a Friend - $1,800
To support a program where volunteers prepare soup and kosher meals for JCFS and TBS emergency needs.

 

EDUCATION:

Beth Tikvah

"Fathers and Sons Together" - $1,500
To conduct workshops for Fathers and Sons to encourage communication and have positive role models.

Department of Jewish Education

Midrashah Emergency Subsidy - $2,400
To subvent the DJE budget for Midrasha due to decreased student enrollment.

JCRC

Blue Lou and the Bullyfish - $3,600
To teach lessons of the Holocaust to younger students k-3 focused on issues related to bullying.

Katz JCC

Higher Ejewcation Adult Department - $1,050
To enhance the JCC's adult educational services for those under age 60.

Kellman Brown Academy

Infrared Audio System for Hearing Impaired - $3,180
To enable hearing impaired students audio equipment that work with SMART boards.

Politz Day School

School Accreditation - $3,600
To support efforts to obtain private school accreditation.

Science Lab - $1,000
To purchase basic measurement tools for the middle school science program.

Temple Emanuel

Resource Room - $2,000
To expand a program helping children with special needs understand their Jewish identity and heritage.

Temple Beth Sholom

A Garden of Learning - $450
To develop an indoor gardening program for preschoolers integrating Jewish prayer and customs.
